Circus Jym has been designed to offer an on going art form of physical expression to children aged from birth to five.
The activities are aimed at pushing the boundaries of the early years learning capabilities, developing children who are able, children with special educational needs, children with disabilities and children from varied language backgrounds.
The development of Circus Jym has been geared towards transforming the early learning goals into fun practical activities that target the six areas of learning within the birth to three and the foundation stage;
Personal social and emotional development,
Communication language and literacy,
Problem solving, reasoning and Numeracy,
Knowledge of the world,
Physical development and creative development.
Circus Jym's planned activities give the practitioner a solution to transform an area of learning into a practical activity. The activities give the practitioner the freedom to teach in either small or large groups offering an alternative to competitive team sports that naturally turn half of the participants into losers.
With Circus Jym, there are no losers and the only challenge and competition is one with your self!
The accompanying brochure provides practical guidance for the early year's practitioners. Within in the pack are development charts to monitor the children's progress and achievements.
