Lord Street Natural Landscape

  

 

Mrs Maxwell, Reception teacher at Lord Street Nursery said "We are absolutely delighted at the transformation that has occurred this week in the hands of Richard and David. Cool Canvas took my vision, added their own ideas and produced a plan that was so much better than the one I had made."

We were able to share this with the children, staff and parents and then we watched our dull and boring play area become magically transformed into an exciting and inspiring garden.

Our children absolutely loved the chainsaw carving and were shouting orders through the fence of what they wanted Craig to carve next!!!

Richard has been so easy to work with and so accommodating. I owe him a great big thank you for taking some left over logs to another school for me, this would have been quite awkward using our cars".

  

Lilliputs Natural Landscape

 

 

Working with Gill Green we've created her vision of communicating friendly areas using our bespoke play and learning resources.
 
The garden has been brought to life through colourful planting, a play tree, boulder sand space, an orchard, transition and den making spaces.

Brownlowfold Natural Landscape

 

 

Using our trade mark play trees, natural floor surfaces and exciting planting we have developed the outdoor play space into an ever changing environment for play and learning.

On a minimal budget we have created every child's dream tree house.  The free standing structure wraps around the tree without being attached to the tree it's self.  The children are free to build onto the den with fabric, string and pegs.
 
What will it become today? A pirate's ship? It's over to the children's creative imaginations!

Eagley Infant School

 

 

Cool Canvas has created a 40 meter long sensory path up a grass embankment. This has created access to the top field which is now being used as a natural outdoor classroom.
 
The sensory path has been hand crafted on site using big noisy plants such as bamboo that rustle in the wind, willow tunnels, arbores and tree stump fencing.  The path has the feel of a magical forestry walk way!

Highmeadows

 

 

OFSTED were pleased with Pamela the proprietor of Highmeadows vision for outdoor play within the nursery play space.  The area now encourage limitless play through natural resources call Pamela on 01204 388181 “Improvements made to the outdoor play areas greatly enhances children learning opportunities, resulting in very positive outcomes”.  OFSTED quote

We transformed a unexciting area of soft play into a giant bark pit with large climbing plants, arbours, planting areas for the children, jungle plant walk trough's and a willow den story telling area.
 
What an exciting place to play and learn!
