Community initiatives 

Cool Canvas gets enthusiastically involved with whole communities – which means children, teens, young adults and older people. They might have different needs and aspirations, but they all share the same space and have their own place in it.

That's what makes it a community. What benefits one section benefits them all, so it's good to be involved.

Anything that improves the local environment improves everyone's quality of life, especially if residents are consulted and given the chance to have their say and so take ownership of any scheme.

That's the Cool Canvas philosophy, and it works in many different ways.

As well as working closely with local people, we work with fund-providers and sponsors to deliver meaningful solutions that represent value for money.

These have included public art installations, landscape features, craft workshops, events and neighbourhood magazines.  

All with the objective of enhancing the living environment, reducing vandalism, inspiring young people, creating a sense of security for older residents and reaffirming community values for everybody.

Cool Canvas has the organisational skills to make it happen, and the experience to work with other professionals and concerned parties in this area.
